Artillery for Ukraine. Western countries have announced further deliveries

In recent days, we have learned that the countries supporting Ukraine will strengthen the defenders of one of the most crucial weapons of any modern conflict, which will be very useful in connection with the new Russian offensive in the east of the country. So what exactly will artillery for Ukraine include?

New artillery for Ukraine will significantly strengthen the capabilities of the defenders

Artillery is a type of weapon that allows you to fire at enemy positions and troops from a safe distance of several dozen kilometers. The more of it in the hands of Ukraine, the better, because the only thing that is enough for artillery troops is the position of enemy troops marked, for example, from a drone.

We learned that the US will send 72 155 mm howitzers and 144,000 artillery shells from US military stocks to Ukraine in the latest package. This came moments after the United States announced another package, which included 18 howitzers and 40,000 artillery shells. The latest safety assistance package also includes 72 tactical vehicles that can be used to tow howitzers.

If that was not enough, apart from the USA, artillery for Ukraine will also be supplied by France (155-mm self-propelled artillery Caeser) and the Netherlands (PzH 2000 – Panzerhaubitze 2000). Training related to the operation of the latter is to be conducted by Germany in Poland or Germany.
