Battlefield 2042 debuts new gameplay focused on Battlefield Portal

DICE has shown a new gameplay of the Battlefield 2042, although this time focused on Battlefield Portal, which will allow us to relive the previous Battlefield installments, but with all the technological and visual advances that Battlefield 2042 integrates, this translates into enjoying the weapons, vehicles, equipment and even maps from Battlefield 1942, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 or Battlefield 3.

Battlefield Portal will also allow you create a custom game to your liking (Big Conquest, Conquest, Rush, Free-For-All and Team Deathmatch), choose the map rotation, game rules, modifiers and much more.

All the cutting-edge gear and massive maps from Battlefield 2042 can be brought into the Battlefield Portal, allowing you to wreak havoc in exciting new ways.

THE MAPS

We are going to bring back fan favorite maps and give them the high definition and quality of modern graphics. Classic battlefields have been rebuilt from the ground up with the latest version of the Frostbite engine. The iconic Port of Arica, El Alamein, Battle of the Ardennes, Valparaíso, Caspian Frontier and Noshahr Canals maps will be brand new thanks to their destruction and revamped visuals.

You have the freedom to decide which innovative arsenal of weapons, equipment and vehicles you want to use to win. We have taken special care so that you can balance the weapons and vehicles to your liking. For example, modern guns do not necessarily have to be more powerful than WW2 weapons.
