Commodore 64 computer can be bought and made of LEGO bricks

The retro-gaming craze is in full swing and although it has been losing strength recently, there are still enthusiasts of old-fashioned equipment and games among us, who spend a fortune for the opportunity to remember the good old times and say “… it used to be”. However, let’s face it – what self-respecting dinosaur … I mean, a player who remembers the times of 8-bit computers and the reign of traditional LEGO bricks would not like to get such a miracle?

The Brixty Four project by YouTuber Perifractic was posted on both his channel and website. All this so that anyone willing to create their own Commodore 64 computer case can do it themselves. However, if they do not want an adventure lasting several hours (you can always order it from kids) and do not want to spread killer mines around the apartment in the form of single blocks, they can order it for $ 299. Needless to say, it’s a lot … especially since it’s only a case with a keyboard that doesn’t work, not the computer itself. However, this one is able to accommodate the original C64 guts, some equipment with an embedded emulator … or just a fake laminate made (of course!) From Lego bricks. On the other hand, a working power LED is a small consolation.

Of course, the color variants depend on the blocks used, and in the ordered set we will also get the necessary cables and assembly kits for the original computer or some variation of the emulator. In the future, the author plans to add a working keyboard as well, and if the product gets 10,000 votes on this page, it will go on sale.
