Microsoft has released a new dashboard on Bing that makes it simple monitoring of the new coronavirus (COVID-19). just access the web page to view all the information broken down by country, even if in Italy there is no breakdown by region.
For each area the Microsoft tool shows the number of active cases confirmed, i healed patients and i deaths, and there is also an updated global calculation showing confirmed cases worldwide. Right now the data in Italy show 27980 confirmed cases, 23073 active, 2749 recovered and 2158 deaths. Worldwide, however, we have confirmed 183569, of which 96532 active, 79867 recovered and 7170 deaths. Data in line with those recently confirmed by various global and national medical organizations.
The dashboard "COVID-19 monitoring" from Microsoft it brings together information disclosed by various organizations, such as CDC, WHO, ECDC and Wikipedia, also showing the date of the last update of the data. Compared to other dashboards available online (and of which we have already spoken), the Microsoft tool also reports a series of news related to the pandemic from reliable sources. The information shown is geolocated in the country from which access was made, in some cases even in individual regions (not in Italy, for). Again, compared to other tools already available online, the Microsoft dashboard adapts to mobile devices, presenting itself as a useful tool to stay up to date even if you are not at home in front of the computer.
