Description

Intel Trusted Execution Engine is a hardware-based privacy protection technology that consists of several chips that manage computer resource allocation, data encryption and video encoding.

When a program is started in protected mode, Intel Trusted Execution allocates the amount of RAM it needs to work, which is completely isolated from any other programs. Also, all information is encrypted by the cryptoprocessors of the Trusted Platform Module. Any information that can be obtained from a keyboard, USB port or any input device is protected. The system can also encrypt the video signal transmitted to the video adapter. Data can only be decrypted on the same computer on which it was encoded. You can protect both an individual program and critical components of the operating system.

The easiest way to find out if you need this driver is by going to Device Manager → System Devices, if there is an Intel (R) Trusted Execution Engine Interface item with an exclamation mark in the list, then the driver is required.

To install, download and run the installer from the “Files” section and then follow the prompts of the installer.
