Description

Realtek USB 2.0 Card Reader driver for the card reader installed in the HP G62 laptop, with which you can read information from flash memory cards designed for storing information in cell phones, cameras, smartphones and tablets, as well as in any other devices.

In the HP G62 Notebook, the built-in card reader can work with the following types of memory cards:

• Secure Digital – the most common, SD, SDHC, SDXC and miniSD;
• MultiMedia Card – fairly old memory cards, MMC, MMCplus and MMCmicro;
• Memory Stick / Memory Stick Pro – developed by Sony, MS, MS PRO and others;
• xD Picture – used primarily in Olympus and Fujifilm digital cameras.

The maximum read speed complies with the USB 2.0 specification and is limited to 480 Mbps, since this is the interface used for data exchange. However, in practice it will be lower due to the limitations of the cards themselves, because even the fastest SDHC / SDXC UHS-II read speeds barely reach 280 Mbps.

After installing the driver, you can work with the connected cards in the same way as with external hard drives. To do this, download and run the installer, which is located in the “Files” section. If you have Windows 10, then the most current driver can be downloaded from the Update Center.
