EFootball 2022 update 1.0 delayed until spring 2022

It seems that Konami has not only had problems with the launch of eFootball 2022, but it is also experiencing setbacks to release the first major update of the game to bring it to version 1.0 .. Today, during the release of version 0.91 that solves small problems, the company announced that this patch goes from being delayed from November 11 to spring 2022 (March 20 to June 21).

Unsurprisingly, the game has come out halfway and now they will take advantage of this time to launch the game that they should have launched in the beginning.

“We would like to inform you that the v1.0.0 update for eFootball 2022, scheduled for release on November 11, 2021, has been delayed until Spring 2022. Additionally, we would like to announce the cancellation and automatic refund of the Pack of EFootball 2022 Premium Player, which includes items that can only be used in-game after v1.0.0 update.

We have been working diligently to distribute an update that will bring new content to the game, including a new mode where you can harden and play with an original team, as well as support for mobile devices on November 11, 2021. Unfortunately, we have reached the conclusion that it takes more time to deliver the product with the quality that meets the expectations of our users and we have decided to postpone the delivery.

Additionally, we have decided to cancel the pre-order for the eFootball 2022 Premium Player Pack, which includes items that can only be used in-game after the update.

We will release v0.9.1 to fix numerous bugs sequentially on each platform starting today (Nov 5). We will keep improving and updating our game. We will announce the details of the new updates and the schedule for the mobile version later.
