“Final Fantasy VII Remake is the worst port seen in a long time, no one should buy it”

A few days ago we could see what the Final Fantasy VII Remake en PC vs PlayStation 5, and it was striking that, despite reaching PC users 1 year and 8 months after its official launch, and above being the first PC game to arrive at a price of 80 euros, we were facing a simple port, that is, despite the fact that it has arrived almost 2 years later, the game does not present no visual improvement That takes advantage of the power of the PC, the possibility of making graphic adjustments is very vague, and as if that were not enough, it is not capable of offering compatibility with ultra-wide monitors.

Now such an important medium, like Digital Foundry, through his journalist Alexander Battaglia, has come to indicate that no one should buy this game, since to the mentioned problems a “increíble stuttering“, being the most worrying of all that the problems were presented by running the game to a resolution 1080p with a Intel Core i9-10900K next to a very powerful Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090.

“I humbly affirm that no one should buy it,” Alexander told Resetera. “This is literally the worst AAA release I’ve seen on PC in a long time.”

As I mentioned – I am not covering FFVIIR – yet the stutters that happen as you immediately get in game rendered graphics are just unacceptable.
Anyone testing and playing this game on PC before release should surely realise that your cinematic game should not do that.
