In recent times, dark mode became the most demanded feature among WhatsApp users, creating a lot of noise as WhatsApp constantly progressed in its beta testing process, which finally culminated in a global launch of the feature in construction stable application in both iOS and Android.

The same has been confirmed by the official publication of the WhatsApp blog, although it is not entirely clear if WhatsApp desktop and web applications will also receive the same treatment, in the short term.
