It didn’t take long for manufacturers to pick up on the announcement of the new DC DIMM. The first-ever 32 GB DDR4 modules not created in accordance with the JEDEC standard have just been announced by Zadak 511.
It is definitely not one of the most famous producers on our market, but it has been around for several years. Maybe this product will remain in our memory for good? He announced Zadak Shield Aura2 RGB modules clocked at 3200 MHz, voltage of 1.35 V and CL14-14-14-34 delays. These values may be a bargaining chip in the duel with Samsung, which recently announced the 32 GB DIMM technology. It is just like that, the more packed the cells on the memory chip, the better their performance decreases … and the capacity naturally increases.
Unfortunately, the Zadak 511 did not disclose details about the design (and even the release date and pricing), but we can expect that the 32 GB Zadak Shield Aura2 RGB module will have 16 GB memory sets on two sides. Probably left and right, not the back and front, as indicated by the high height of the product. This can cause problems with wide heat sinks in air cooling, but it will still allow customers to equip up to 64 GB of RAM in a dual-channel configuration. Such a convenience will probably only be possible on ASUS motherboards.
