Four new high-capacity DDR4 modules for Intel and AMD workstations from G.Skill

G.Skill has announced four new Trident Z memory kits, between Neo and Royal solutions, including: DDR4-3600 256 GB CL16 (8×32),256 GB DDR4-4000 CL18 (8×32), 64 GB DDR4-4000 CL15 (8 x 8) e DDR4-3600 CL14 always from 64 GB (8×8).

All four kits are dedicated to HEDT (High End DeskTop) systems, such as Intel's X299 and TRX40 platforms from AMD, which can support up to 256 GB of RAM on four channels.

As shown in the screenshot below, the new kit 64 GB DDR4-4000 CL15 has been tested with a motherboard Asus Rampage VI Extreme Encore and with a processor belonging to the Cascade-Lake X family, the Core i9 10900X.

For those who need a high performance workstation or a system that needs to run multiple virtual machines, there are 256 GB kits. In the following screens you can see the kit DDR4-4000 CL18 in action on two systems, one with a motherboard MSI Creator X299 is Intel Core i9-9920X CPU and the other with motherboard Asus Prime X299 Deluxe II is CPU Core i9-9820X.

For AMD users with TRX40 platform there is the low latency kit 64 GB DDR4-3600 CL14, which has been validated on a motherboard Asus ROG Zenith II Exteme and with the CPU Ryzen Threadripper 3960X.

Those who need the maximum amount of memory remaining on the AMD platform are the kit 256 GB DDR4-3600 CL16, always tested on the same system.

In the table below you can view the entire list of G.Skill quad-channel memories for the HEDT segment.

The new memories support Intel XMP 2.0 technology is will be available during the fourth quarter.
