GALAX GeForce RTX 2080 Ti / 2080 HOF with LCD display

Fortunately, we haven’t got to know the price yet… and that’s good, because it could crush us into an armchair, like yesterday. GALAX provided us with only a picture in the form of a trailer for the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti / 2080 HOF card.

However, I have the impression that soon “Hall of Fame” will change into “Hall of Flame”, against which the card is protected by monstrous cooling. Wo ho! We were probably not ready for this double play on words. For a long time, GALAX has distinguished its non-preferred models of graphics cards with an unusual design and, above all, an LCD display. This displays information on temperature, fan speed and GPU voltage. The display is additionally surrounded by a huge crown with LED backlight. This is good news, because it will not force users who want the best display of their cards on their PC.

The card itself is really large and can take up to three slots, or at best – 2.5. The heat sink itself seems monstrous and it is in fact, because it is even bigger than laminate. Its weight must be frightening, so some card holders will definitely be included. Anyway – the manufacturer added them to the previous generation GTX, so why not do it here? The question of power supply remains a mystery, which GALAX is still wondering about. The presence of two 8-pin PEG connectors is pretty sure, but how about three? After all, if you want to go crazy, is there to be a better opportunity than in the case of the HOF series?
