Earth View a collection of the most suggestive landscapes as they appear in Google Earth. born from the passion of people for the knowledge of the world who have explored Google Earth and taken screenshots of the most memorable places, mainly for the purpose of making them wallpaper. Google announces that it has entered 1000 new high resolution images in a special collection within Earth View.
The Google service wants to show us the most suggestive places on the planet from a particular perspective, from space. one of the most loved by people precisely for its ability to discover places that otherwise would risk ignoring their existence. The hope that this fun project will push us to appreciate more the majesty and heterogeneity of our wonderful planet.
The new Earth View looks like a planisphere with many colored dots. To each of them corresponds a wonder of the world like the port of Syracuse and the island of Ortigia, the center of Florence or the Lido di Jesolo. All images can be downloaded to be used as wallpaper or shared to friends. There is the "leanback" mode to observe them in rapid succession and it is possible to install the extension for the web browser.
In the main screen you can use the color bar to filter images based on their predominant hue and their favorite color. The new image collection optimized for modern high resolution screens, with images featuring brighter colors and resolutions up to 4K. The new service works together with Ambient Mode on inactive screens connected to Chromecasts or sui Android TV, but also to the app Wallpapers located in the Google Play store.
