Google ends Lite Mode data saving feature for Chrome on Android
Google announced this week that it plans to disable Chrome’s Lite Mode feature for Android on March 29, 2022.
Lite Mode, which Google released as Data Saver in 2015, was designed to improve web page loading in Chrome by funneling traffic through Google’s servers on slow connections.
