Curtiss Motorcycles took its name from Glen Curtiss, who set a speed record in 1907. The Hera model will go further in this direction, as it will be inspired by the motorcycle which Glen broke that record with, earning the title of “Fastest Man on Earth” with 136.3mph on Ormond Beach, Florida. Hera is to have an E-Twin engine equipped with eight “cylinders”, namely lithium-ion batteries. This, of course, alludes to the V8 from the record that Curtiss Motorcycles has created the following visual for:
According to the manufacturer, Hera is to offer greater performance than its “predecessor”, but also luxurious workmanship. However, the elongated shape alone does not herald a particularly comfortable ride. Riding Hera in the presented edition, you will obviously have to stretch a bit, which will probably change in the future. Designers have 18 to 24 months to do so, because it is in this time frame that the first car is to enter the roads.
