How does this tiny cooling deal with the Core i9-12900K? The Jonsbo HP400S is definitely unique

The Jonsbo company boasted about the HP400S, i.e. a tiny cooling of central processors for SFF (Small Form-Factor) sets, which, despite its seemingly poor size, is able to dissipate heat from TDP systems up to 140 watts, potentially even Intel Core i9-12900K .

The Jonsbo HP400S cooling, despite its small size, is supposed to cope with the Core i9-12900K

Although no one normally completes a miniature computer set with the most efficient processors, such cases also happen, so they generate a demand for cooling systems like the Jonsbo HP400S. At the moment, we do not know its price, but its specification is well known, so we know that it measures only 36 mm in height, has 40 thin aluminum fins, four 6-mm-thick heat pipes and a 90-mm PWM fan with a speed from 800 to 3000 RPM.

It is this fan that generates up to 33 dBA of the most unbearable, because high in terms of noise frequency, air flow up to 48.3 CFM. It is this air flow that makes the HP400S able to cope with processors with a TDP (also PBP) parameter up to 140 watts, despite a modest heat sink. So Josnbo’s offer exceeds, among others Low-profile Noctua NH-L9i-17xx cooler with two heat pipes, fan up to 2500 RPM and air flow up to 33.9 CFM.

The mentioned handling of the Core i9-12900K should of course be taken with a grain of salt. Although it is certain that under such a cooling (probably howling in the sky) the processor would not burn due to the high temperatures, it certainly will not work with turbo clocks for long. Fortunately, the HP400S is also compatible with the AM4, LGA115X and LGA1200 socket.
