Intel fans will soon get the chance to buy something truly unique. I am talking about the Intel Core i7-8086K processor, which has just appeared in the offer of one of the stores. We should receive an official announcement at the upcoming Computex 2018 fair.

Intel Core i7-8086K saw the light of day in the Connection store and Merlion, which list this chip as “inaccessible“. However, they confirm the old information about its production, which Intel decided on the fortieth anniversary of the Intel 8086 processor and (most likely) by the naming itself, which in the case of the eighth generation Intel Core is a real hit. This means, however, that the i7-8086K will be nothing more than a chip with specially selected chips from the Coffee Lake series.

It is to offer 6 cores and 12 threads with a base core clock of 4 GHz. However, thanks to the Turbo Boost mechanism, it will be able to jump to the full 5 GHz, which makes the i7-8086K the first processor from Intel’s offer to offer unprecedented clocks right out of the box. It is to work with the current generation of chipsets, and its price is to be about 70 euro higher than the price of the i7-8700K. This means that we will get him for 480 euros … which does not seem to be a special occasion. Of course, not for those who want to get their hands on something truly unique.
