It looks like Xiaomi is currently working on a new version of Mi 8 Lite. This model has just appeared in the entry on TENAA, which means it should be available on the market soon.
The smartphone is number M1808D2TT and it will differ from its predecessors in two important things. The first is a change in appearance that affects color. The entry in TENAA speaks of white color and we have not seen such Mi 8 Lite yet. The second is the amount of RAM. It is to be 8 GB, which is quite a lot for such a construction.
The basic version of the smartphone featured a 6.26-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 px, Snapdragon 660 and 64 or 128 GB of internal memory. Two 12MP + 8MP cameras were present on the original rear model, but new information says the latter has been changed to 5MP. There is one 24MP camera on the front. The battery is to have a capacity of 3250 mAh, which is 100 mAh less than in the old version. These changes are minimal, but still occur.
