HP updates Pavilion x360 14 with Intel Ice Lake CPU to 10nm

HP updates Pavilion x360 14, probably one of the best known mid-range convertibles in the entire catalog, now available in two new variants with Intel Core 10th Gen Ice Lake processors. In addition to the hardware, the design has also been slightly revised and now includes a metal body with thin bezels. The thickness is just 18mm with a weight that stands at 1.66 kg instead.

The two models share some features, including the Bang & Olufsen audio department, optional 4G LTE, the 360 ​​° rotatable display and a 43.3 Wh battery which should guarantee 13 hours of autonomy (FHD video playback). As for the I / O department, we find USB 3.2 gen 2 10 Gbps, USB Type-C with DisplayPort 1.4, two USB 3.1 gen 2 Type-A, one HDMI 2.0 and audio combo jack.

The hardware equipment of the convertibles instead is quite different; HP offers a mid-range model with Intel Core i5-1035G1, 8GB of DDR4 3200 RAM, WiFi AX and 512GB PCIe 3.0 x2 SSD, plus a second variant based on a cheaper Core i3-1005G1, 8GB of DDR4 3200 RAM, 128GB SSD and WiFi AC.

Finally, differences also for the display which, on the Core i5 model, provides a 250 nit IPS FHD panel, much better than the second option with Core i3 which still mounts a 220 nit HD panel and a resolution of 1366×786 pixels. The HP Pavilion x360 14 is currently available in the United States at base price of $ 749 (Core i5) and $ 499 (Core i3).
