Images of the Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Master and Z690 Aorus Elite AX DDR4 are leaked

Images of Z690 motherboards continue to come to light, and in this case they correspond to two Gigabyte models: The Z690 Aorus Master and the Z690 Aorus Elite AX DDR4. This is the first time we see the Aorus Master model, although not the first time we see the Aorus Elite AX DDR4 model, since a few weeks ago a photograph of its box had been leaked, which included an image of the motherboard.

Starting with the Z690 AORUS Master, in this picture filtered by @hw_reveal We see that it will be a fairly robust motherboard, with a solid VRM and large heatsinks not only in the VRMs but also for the M.2 ones. In the case of the upper M.2, which possibly supports PCI-E 5.0, we see a huge metal heatsink much larger than any heatsink included in an M.2, while in the lower ports we see a large heatsink that joins the one on the chipset, having a large surface area to dissipate heat.

Something that is striking and we did not see in the Asrock models is that its PCI-E 5.0 x16 port has a white interior to emphasize that it is different from the lower PCI-E 4.0 ports. As we will see in the image of the following model, it seems that this is something that Gigabyte implemented in all its Z690 models, seeking to quickly differentiate the PCI-E 5.0 ports.

The other leaked motherboard is the Z690 AORUS ELITE AX DDR4, the image of which was leaked by Videocardz. This motherboard belongs to the most economical segment of the company, so we can see that many of the features present in the Z690 AORUS Master are not present in this model, and also the quality and quantity of components is much lower. In this case, this motherboard has DDR4 memories, although according to what is leaked in Gigabyte’s listing before the EEC, there will also be a DDR5 variant for those who want a cheaper upgrade path or simply do not need all the features of a high-end model. range like the AORUS Master.

The new Z690 motherboards are expected to be announced on October 27 and hit the market on November 4, so we will surely see many more leaks in the coming days. Stay up-to-date with HD Tecnología to stay up-to-date with the latest news.
