Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA collectively decided not to participate in Computex 2020

Due to the epidemic situation of Covid-19, Computex 2020, which was originally scheduled to take place from June 2 to 6, and which was later postponed until September. The venue would be the Nangang Exhibition Hall in Taipei, China, but many companies decided not to participate in this annual PC event.

Before this, motherboard and storage brands like Gigabyte, MSI, Hunxun, Elite and Chengqi withdrew from Computex 2020 And, according to the latest news, the three chip giants, including Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA have dropped out of the event.

As we all know, the biggest attraction of Computex 2020 is the new platform presented by Intel, AMD and NVIDIA. Last year we saw the 10th generation Intel Ice Lake mobile version built on the 10nm node, the Core i9-9900KS @ 5GHz and 3rd generation Ryzen processors based on 7nm technology, plus a variety of boards mother and graphics cards.

If everything follows the normal pace of previous years, at Computex 2020, we expected the launch of the 11th generation Intel Tiger Lake processors and the Zen3-based AMD Ryzen 4000 series.

But now, everything has become more confusing, Intel officially declared that the 11th generation Intel Tiger Lake would debut this year, and cannot wait for the Taipei Computer Show; The AMD Ryzen 4000 series and NVIDIA RTX 30 series CPUs are still expected to launch in September-October, although an announcement was expected at Computex 2020, but it appears that the two will have their own separate press conferences.

However, for now, Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA have not made any public statements.

But it seems that Computex 2020 will have the same destiny as MWC 2020, the annual celebration of the mobile phone industry!
