iPhone SE will be more environmentally friendly? Aluminum ELYSIS in the sight of Apple

Apple, after abandoning chargers and headphones from smartphone boxes “in the fight for the good of the planet” (and for its own pocket) announced its intention to buy ELYSIS emission-free aluminum for the production of a specific model. It will make the iPhone SE more environmentally friendly and will become part of Apple’s efforts to achieve carbon neutrality across the entire supply chain by 2030.

Apparently, the ELYSIS company has already achieved the possibility of producing its emission-free aluminum on an industrial scale. That is why Apple became interested in the company’s product, deciding that it would be using this material to produce new iPhone SE smartphones. It is certain, however, that it will not be the last Apple model with such an “ecological flair”.

The cooperation of Apple with ELYSIS itself was certain, because already in 2018 the company that produces world-famous electronics invested in its current supplier, and in 2019 it checked the quality of this ecological aluminum. It used them for the production of a 16-inch MacBook Pro, so from the premiere of the iPhone SE it will offer two such “ecological” devices.
