If we just started February knowing that Battlefield 2042 Season One delayed to prioritize resolving all the bugs that should have been resolved before the release of the game itself, now, two days later, EA reveals that this update that was going to arrive in mid-February will be delayed to next March: “The additional time will help us improve the quality of our Updates and include additional changes.“.

To appease users, they released the a hotfix for patch 3.2 that solves some unrevealed issue that should have been fixed already, and add a rotating map for console players, so it will be until early March when the game offers something as basic as a simple classification to see the statistics of the game.

We’ve just made a small patch for Battlefield 2042 available on all platforms to address areas of game instability that we’ve seen following the release of Update 3.2.

There is no downtime, so you’ll be able to play once you’ve downloaded it at 9:00 UTC.

Our next update after today’s Hotfix will be released in early March. This is a change from the last message we sent everyone about its planned release in February.

The additional time will help us improve the quality of our updates and include additional changes.

As part of today’s Hotfix, we’ve re-enabled the Renewall for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players. This map should be back in rotation.

Thank you for your patience while we resolve this issue.
