LEGO will start the year with Sonic. This is the Sonic the Hedgehog Green Hill Zone set

24-year-old from Great Britain, Viv Grannell, submitted her idea for a LEGO set related to Sonic to the Lego Ideas platform. After collecting 10,000 votes from the community, the company became interested in him, and so within 10 months of work, the kit was created Sonic the Hedgehog Green Hill Zone.

Assembled LEGO Ideas Sonic the Hedgehog Green Hill Zone is a detailed representation of one of the most iconic levels for this 1991 platformer, measuring 36 x 17 x 6 cm. It was then that Sonic the Hedgehog appeared on players’ screens and welcomed them with the first, iconic level of the Green Gables Zone, modeled on the Californian hills.

In fact, anyone who has played video games at any level in the last 30 years knows and loves Sonic – and has probably been racing with him through the unforgettable Green Gables Zone. We designed this bundle to be as colorful and fun as the in-game version of Green Hill Zone, and then filled it with loads of easter eggs and even prizes to help fans enjoy some of their most beloved game icons in a whole new way

The 1125-piece set has a lot of details and easter eggs, caring for five figures. A modernized version of Sonic, Crabmeat, Moto Bug, Dr. Eggman and Phantom Rubin. The set also includes 10 boxes of Golden Rings and a mechanism characteristic of the Technic series, thanks to which the characters will take to the air. The set will be available from January 1 at the price of EUR 69.99.
