BMW presented a 1: 5 scale reproduction of the BMW M1000 RR superbike with the use of LEGO bricks. The two-wheeler has the LEGO Technic version, i.e. the one aimed at increasing the complexity of the set thanks to functional elements forged from real models.
LEGO Technic BMW M 1000 RR set presented
Going straight to the essentials, the LEGO Technic BMW M 1000 RR assembles a total of 1,920 bricks. After folding, they provide us with a model with a size of 27.7 x 45.5 x 17 centimeters, which we can present to the world both on a racing stand and on a display stand. This means that the motorcycle itself is not built by as many as 1920 LEGO bricks, because some of them are delegated to the stands themselves.

However, it’s hard not to be delighted with this LEGO set for fans of superbikes not only by mapping the details, headed by a golden drive chain, but also by working elements. LEGO Technic BMW M 1000 RR has a functional gearbox with 4 gears (3 gears and natural) and a shock absorption system at the front and back. However, this will not come as a surprise to those who have already assembled the Ducati Panigale V4 R.
When BMW Motorrad management announced the first M model on two wheels, the BMW M 1000 RR, everyone knew the effect would be unique. The LEGO Technic team also knew it needed something unprecedented to make an adequate tribute to the M RR. The result is both a motorcycle and a technical model that represent the latest state of the art in their respective fields
Said Ralf Rodepeter, Head of Marketing and Product Management at BMW Motorrad.
