Mobile console Powkiddy A20 closed in a retro casing. This is Gameboy for Android

Imagine a Gameboy… but these days. Maybe closed in a retro casing, but at the same time having everything that is modern. This is a short summary of the Powkiddy A20 mobile console, evidently inspired by the original work of Nintendo.

If you wanted a modern Gameboy, the Powkiddy A20 mobile console should meet your expectations

Just look at this console in a black, angular casing. It fits perfectly in the hand, although of course it requires two hands to play it in order to better manipulate the characters in the games. These appear on a 3.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 640 × 480 pixels, but the manufacturer also took care of an additional micro HDMI port to connect the console to external displays.

According to the information provided by CNX Software, the A20 console from Powkiddy is powered by the Amlogic S905D3 Cortex-A55 quad-core processor clocked at 1.9 GHz and the ARM Mali-G31MP2 graphics processor as part of the SoC system with 2 GB of DDR4 memory. This connection is powered by a 3000mAh rechargeable battery that allows for 3.5 hours of use and makes the console capable of supporting OpenGL ES 3.2, Vulkana 1.0 and OpenCL 2.0.
