More non-reference GeForce RTX versions in the photos

There was the XLR8 series from PNY that confirmed the specification of the most efficient models of the new GeForce and GAMING X TRIO from MSI, which paved the way for further leaks. This time I have for you the non-reference GeForce RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti models from Palit, EVGA, Zotac and again MSI.

Let’s start with the biggest ugly one (“deviating from the standards and showing the world that aesthetics does not always count”) from this combination that EVGA gave us as part of the new XC Ultra series. The photo below shows the RTX 2080 with two fans and a transparent casing that makes me think of cheap Chinese food. So I hope a suitable RGB system will improve the final view. Of course, we are dealing here with the TU104 core with 2944 CUDA cores, 8 GB of GDDR6 memory and a 256-bit bus. Traditionally, but the clocks and the price are out of the question.

Now we move on to the other models, which are rather traditional and do not present anything innovative. Well, maybe the style of the GamingPro series from Palit can find its followers. Both RTX 2080 GamingPro and RTX 2080 Ti GamingPro can boast proprietary cooling and laminate. In both cases, the cards are powered by a pair of 8-pin PEG connectors, but two variants of both models will hit the market. One will be factory overclocked, and the other will work on clocks from the speakers.

Zotac, in turn, breaks its tradition with the Zotac Turing AMP series. We won’t find a traditional and simple style from the Pascal family here, but something a bit more bold – 3 fans and a slightly too short laminate in relation to the heat sink. The GeForce RTX 2080 Turing AMP is powered by 6- and 8-pin plugs, and in the more efficient “Ti” model, a pair of two 8-pin plugs. The whole is complemented by a simple cooling cover and a backplate with a cutout at the core. Fans of the manufacturer have certainly noticed the lack of RGB and the characteristic yellow – don’t worry. Zotac will present slightly more twisted models in the future.

And finally, my personal favorite from this list – the MSI Duke series. You can see immediately that the acquired GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 2080 will feel cool under this heat sink and three fans, and the user will be able to admire RGB backlight, cool shapes and a combination of black and shades of gray. However, we know little about them, because I can assure you about the presence of the NVLink connector and a pair of 8-pin connectors for power supply.
