Moto Edge X30 will enter the world market under a different name

Last month, Motorola unveiled the first smartphone equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Now we are waiting for the premiere of this model outside of China, and new reports indicate that we will have to look for it under a different name.

The Edge X30 will hit the global markets as the Edge 30 Pro

Smartphone manufacturers quite often change the names of their devices when they are to debut outside of China. It is no different in the case of Motorola, which, according to the NBTC certificate, is to debut in the global market under the name Motorola Edge 30 Pro. This can be inferred from the model numbers, because X30 is listed as XT2201-2and 30 Pro – XT2201-1. So they differ only by the digit after the dash, which usually means a variant of the same phone. Unfortunately, more details have not been revealed, so the date of the global release of this smartphone is not yet known.

However, we learned something else about the Edge 30 series. It’s the Ultra model that has been around for some time. Now, new leaks reveal to us the accessories for this device, which are to be the Motorola Smart Stylus smart stylus and the Folio case, which are designed so that a stylus can be placed in it.

Reports indicate that the case is to be paired with software that detects when the stylus has been removed and when it has been left out of the case for too long (not used). Then the user will receive an appropriate alert. The stylus is supposed to charge wirelessly in the case and support gestures in the air, so you can use it as a mouse with an external display, and use the button to control multimedia.

In the middle of the case there is also a strip on which you can display basic information like the hour, and also receive calls.
