Android 12 debuted in October, so it’s high time for smartphone manufacturers to share their upgrade plans with us. That’s what Motorola did.
Android 12 with My UX overlay – Motorola presents the update plan
In a blog post, the company shared with us the details of implementing Android 12 on its smartphones. The system is also based on the My UX overlay, which brings some improvements. The devices will comply with the design language called Material You, but in addition, there will be an option to personalize the appearance of the system and its individual elements. Users will also get a new chat widget, a lot of privacy changes and some other news.
When it comes to what is most important, it is worth noting that Motorola does not provide an exact schedule here, so we do not know exactly when the update will hit the given devices. The entire process will begin in February 2022, although we don’t expect Android 12 to hit all smartphones right away. It will probably be gradual and somehow spread over time.
