They photograph the "new" Intel heatsink for Alder Lake, it is the same heatsink with acrylic all around

A few months ago the new line of factory heatsinks that Intel will include with its Alder Lake “No K” CPUs was leaked, and now that we are approaching the launch of these new processors, an image of the “Laminar RM1” heatsink was leaked that will include the Blue company with the Core i3, i5 and i7 models, showing what to expect from it.

Apparently, this heatsink will be practically the same as the one used in the 11th. Generation, with the addition of an acrylic ring around it for a purely aesthetic purpose. Its fan was also replaced by a different one, although it may not change the performance for better or for worse, so we can estimate that it will have practically the same cooling capacity as the previous model.

This heatsink will be included with all Core i3, i5 and i7 CPUs with 65W or 35W TDP that Intel will announce in January, so we will have to wait until the end of January or the beginning of February to see how it performs, although we already anticipated that For more than one i3, it is best to buy another heatsink, even if it is an inexpensive one with a 120mm fan. As soon as there are new tests of these heatsinks we will be informing you, so stay tuned to HD Tecnología to be aware of the news.

What do you think about this “new” factory heatsink from Intel? Do you think they should have made an effort to improve cooling capacity rather than aesthetics?
