NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 and 3090Ti to be announced on January 4 and launched on January 27

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 12GB was only released a little over a year ago, and from what we know the RTX 3050, RTX 3070 Ti 16GB, and RTX 3090 Ti are coming soon.

The RTX 3070 Ti 16GB would be the first to arrive on January 11, the other two should be available from January 27.

These new NVIDIA Ampere GPUs arrive at a time of scarcity mixed with very high prices around the world. According to Videocardz, these new cards will be announced on January 4, during CES 2022.

As for the RTX 3090 Ti, the information comes from an embargo document from some of the NVIDIA partners and shows that the launch should take place on January 27th. And the RTX 3070 Ti 16GB should be announced on the 17th of this month with a release for January 11th.

In terms of technical specifications, the RTX 3070 Ti 16GB should have exactly the same number of CUDA cores as the 8GB version, about 6144, in addition to operating at the same frequency. From what is known, the new RTX 3070 Ti, with twice the video memory, should not have any change in performance compared to the base version.

From the information leaked so far on la RTX 3050, there are no technical details, except for the 8GB of VRAM. The cheapest Ampere GPU should be NVIDIA’s solution to the AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT and Intel Arc A380. What is known so far about the RTX 3090 Ti is that the card should arrive with more cores than the base version, with the 3090 Ti with 10752 cores and the base 3090 with 10496 cores, and it should have slightly faster memories, 21 Gbps. , versus 19.5 Gbps for the base GPU, despite the same amount of VRAM.

With this unofficial information, it remains to be seen the release dates for the 12GB RTX 3080.
