NVIDIA to launch 2 new 4GB and 8GB RTX 3050 models

If you thought that you had already seen all the graphics of the green giant, we inform you that NVIDIA will launch 2 new models of RTX 3050 4 and 8GB.

That’s right, since there are almost no graphics for anyone and a few days ago we announced that NVIDIA was going to launch the new RTX 3070 Ti 16GB, RTX 3080 12GB and RTX 3090 TI models, today it seems to be confirmed that NVIDIA will launch 2 new RTX models 3050 of 4 and 8GB.

The information comes through the well-known Twitter user @ kopite7kimi, which posted a Tweet showing the chips that will carry the RTX 3050 4GB and RTX 3050 8GB graphics.

One thing is clear, and it is that NVIDIA will launch these new models to make things difficult for its direct competitor AMD, which we remember will soon launch its model RX 6500 XT 8 GB.

On the other hand, these new models are expected to have a fairly low TDP as are their MSRP prices, (RTX 3050 4GB about $ 200 and RTX 3050 8GB about $ 250).

But we already know that in the end these prices will only be representative, because at the moment of truth it is expected that their MSRP price will increase between 50 and 80%.

In terms of performance, it is known that RTX 3050 4 GB dispose of 2304 Shaders FP32 with the chip GA106-140, that as we can see in the technical characteristics, it would be on a par with the Radeon RX 6500 XT.

The model RTX 3050 8 GB, instead it has 2560 Shaders FP32 with the chip GA106-150-Kx, that in performance it should be between a GTX 1660 Super and an RTX 2060, something that would surprise us, really.
