The commission also revealed that the company offered the EU some concessions as part of its efforts to convince the bloc’s antitrust regulators to approve the deal. We are talking mainly about investments, as was the case with Great Britain, which NVIDIA proposed to invest “at least” $ 100 million in the most powerful supercomputer in the country.

Until October 27, the European Commission will seek the views of competitors and customers on the acquisition before deciding whether to accept it, request more, or launch a four-month investigation, Reuters recalled. Bloomberg believes the probe will be extended, which will allow additional time to obtain feedback from interested parties and determine what can be requested from NVIDIA.
