One-handed DualSense operation. A unique gadget for the PlayStation 5 controller has been created

Sony has forgotten about all players in relation to Microsoft. As for Xbox we can buy a special controller (Xbox Adaptive), for PlayStation 5 we are forced to have a large and relatively heavy controller, which for some has many advantages, and for others these advantages become disadvantages. Fortunately, one-handed operation of DualSense is now possible, thanks to an independent developer.

YouTuber has created an adapter that each of us can print from the comfort of our own home and make using DualSense with one hand a no-problem

For obvious reasons, the adapter is intended for people who either cannot get used to the controller or have a certain degree of disability that prevents them from doing so. However, everyone can use it, even in minor problems. Speech, e.g. passing a cooperative game alone, using two pads, or releasing one hand from the obligation to control the game to make it easier for both to reach for snacks or drinks.

The 3D printed adapter is divided into two parts. One (basic) allows you to control the knob by moving the controller on the table top or on the thigh, while providing access to the L1 and L2 buttons. The second attachment designed specifically for the D-Pad is already optional, but required when the game requires its use.

Interestingly, using DualSense with one hand is nothing exclusive (you just need to have the hardware and access to a 3D printer), because the files can be downloaded without any problems. In addition, it is an adapter designed for both right and left-handed users (just rotate the design), thanks to the symmetry of the DualSense controller.
