Another budget TWS headphones from OnePlus are to be equipped with 3 microphones that will be used for active noise reduction. The manufacturer took up the design that is now better able to cope with the wind. Buds Z2 will connect to a smartphone using Bluetooth 5.2, and sources say they will rely on the basic AAC and SBC codecs. The headphones are to be resistant to water and sweat, in accordance with the IP55 certificate, and the case is to have IPX4 protection.

We also got to know the details of the battery. Each earpiece is to be equipped with a 40 mAh battery, and the case – 520 mAh. This translates to 5 hours of playback with ANC on and 7 hours with the feature off. When using the case, this time is 27 and 38 hours, respectively. The case can be fully charged in 90 minutes using USB-C.

OnePlus Buds Z2 will be available in white and black. The case is to weigh 42 g, and a single handset – 4.6 g.
