On January 22, in the Philippine Sea, the US and Japanese navies organized joint exercises with a total of 10 ships (five from each country). This has been captured in photos that show, inter alia, about the power of both countries cooperating with each other.
As part of this exercise, about 346,000 tons of steel were in one area at the same time, and in addition, there was also a “flight” of four F-35C Lightning II, three F / A-18E / F Super Hornet, one E / A-18G Growler, one V-22 Osprey and one E-2D Advanced Hawkeye. At that moment, the first-ever simultaneous operation of three ships with F-35 Joint Strike fighters on board took place.
