Samsung announced the launch of two new monitors, the Odyssey Neo G8 and the Odyssey Neo G7. They both share the same panel MiniLED curvo (1000R) 31.5 inches with a 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixelsbeing the main difference in the refresh rate, and is that the G8 reaches the 240 Hzwhile the G7 reaches 165 Hzso it is clear that you will need a top-of-the-line GPU to take advantage of both options.

These panels feature nothing less than 1196 dimming zonesare compatible with Nvidia G-Sync Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro picture sync technologies, the Odyssey Neo G8 is capable of reaching a maximum brightness of 2000 nits (Quantum HDR2000), while the Odyssey Neo G7 “makes do” with 1000 nitsand both have a response time of 1 milisegundo (1ms GtG), and with a touch of RGB lighting on the back, otherwise it would not be gaming.

Regarding the availability and price of the monitors, not a wordsomething really curious when Samsung itself allows you to reserve the Odyssey Neo G8 promising a saving of 50 dollars, although it does not indicate the launch date or the price at which its new top-of-the-range monitor will arrive.
