PlayStation 5: here is the DualSense wireless controller. Photos and details

Sony presents the DualSense wireless controller, the heir of Dualshock 4 that will accompany the launch of the PlayStation 5. The next generation controller was designed with original features which, together with the new technologies of PS5, including the Tempest 3D AudioTech mentioned a few days ago, will offer total immersion in the game worlds.

The DualSense, in addition to maintaining part of the characteristics of the Dualshock 4, will be characterized by a new design and will be equipped with a tactile feedback system which will help improve the level of involvement. Thanks to the new adaptive triggers, L2 and R2, the player will be able to perceive the voltage of their actions.

The controller will be compact and, according to Sony, smaller than it doesn't appear in the picture. The Japanese giant has made some changes to the handles and changed the angle of the triggers compared to the Dualshock 4; the whole is accompanied by a new two-tone coloring. DualSense will also incorporate a new battery that will not affect the weight of the controller, will allow you to achieve greater autonomy and can be recharged through the USB-C port on the back of the device.

The two analog sticks remain arranged symmetrically and the presence of the light bar, the Touchpad and the "Options" and "Share" keys has been confirmed – the latter changes its name to "Create" and will introduce extra functionality for the creation and sharing of game content. Finally confirmed integrated speaker and microphone that will allow users to chat without the aid of the headset.
