PlayStation is looking for a senior director to expand its presence on PC

PlayStation is currently offering a job to hire a person to take care of “lead PC growth and business strategy“, as well as “develop and implement global PC store strategy and process“.

This move comes months after the company created PlayStation PCa new publishing label that is responsible for the production of PlayStation games for PC, not to mention the recent launch of one of the company’s crown jewels, God of Waron PC, so it is clear that the company sees a lot of profitability in this market and will continue to release new titles in the future.

Position – Senior Director of PC Planning and Strategy
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategy and business activity within Global Channel sales and will deliver a single, optimized PC sales growth and business plan to the center and territory teams for implementation. She will identify future sectors and partnerships for business growth. The plan must support the delivery of agreed critical global channel sales metrics.

To do this, you will lead collaboration with partners such as CDS Management, GSBO Center and Territory Management, Global Marketing, WWS, Legal, Corporate Strategy, PPM and other Global Business Partners (e.g. Genba, Epic , Steam).
The candidate will need to be flexible and open to evolving roles and responsibilities in line with the changing needs of this business unit as it grows and expands.
Responsibilities
Direct PC growth and business strategy
Increase PC MAU for PC content
Develop and implement the overall PC store strategy and process
Coordinate with all relevant collaborators to agree on the activity (WWS, Marketing and GSBO strategy)
Ensure activity supports compliance with important relevant metrics
Meet PC budget and all revenue goals
Work with the center and territory teams to ensure compliance with the business plan and growth within the regions
Ensure that the activity plan meets the needs of our players
Build and grow global PC (Telco) business partner opportunities
PC sales growth, strategy and execution across global PC sales fronts (Epic, Steam)
Identify promotional and incremental sales opportunities through data and develop go-to-market plans in collaboration with Marketing.
Some domestic and/or international travel may be required.
