Professional Astro C40 TR controller for PS4 and PC from Astro Gaming

The controller market seems to be far behind the keyboard and mouse models we can buy. Maybe this is due to the already high quality of the factory pads for PlayStation or Xbox? Well, there is probably something to it, but Astro Gaming decided to release the professional Astro C40 TR controller anyway.

At the beginning, it is worth noting that this brand is taken care of by Logitech, whose legendary quality has also translated into items from Astro Gaming. I found out about it, among others on the Astro A50 headset test for almost PLN 1,500. Well, it may not be the most affordable brand, but it is definitely an elite one on the market. The Astro C40 TR controller itself costs $ 200 in advance, so it must probably offer something special … what exactly? According to the official announcement, “This controller is Astro Gaming’s next natural evolution in esports.” So it was created in cooperation with professional players, which ultimately translated into such a miracle:

The manufacturer ensures that the Astro C40 TR was designed with comfort and durability needed in the most stressful situations in mind. Hence, probably the modularity, which translates into the possibility of replacing traditional knobs and key sets, manipulating their settings and flexibility towards the user. The latter manifests itself in the possibility of setting the length, programmable back buttons and setting the sensitivity in the software with profiles. The whole is complemented by 2.4 GHz wireless mode and a battery that lasts 12 hours of playing, a 3.5 jack connector with a built-in equalizer and a transport case.
