Claymore Dual Miner program
We used the Claymore Dual Miner program, running it with the default settings: 1266 MHz frequency of the graphics processor of the video card and 8 GHz frequency of the video memory. The result we got was approximate 24.7-24.8 MHS with power consumption in terms of the 108 watts program, and real power consumption 177 watts.
Taking into account the efficiency of 80 Plus Gold PSU, we can say that the card’s power is 150 watts at default settings. The numbers are also confirmed by the fact that during the mining of Ethereum with the settings of the frequency of the graphics processor, the default frequency is about 1240 MHz, never reaching the maximum 1266 MHz.

In fact, reaching the power limit of 150 watts for which the card is designed, a slight excess of this limit (by a few percent) allows to achieve full overclocking of the graphics processor to a full 1266 MHz … What is not important for Ethereum mining, but may be important for other crypto algorithms, not so sensitive to video memory.
In the double mining mode, you can simultaneously mine Ethereum and Decred at the same time, and the results will be approximately 24.3 MHS for Ethereum and about 365 MHS for Decred (with an intensity of 30 by default). Later, we increased the intensity for Decred to 35, which led to a drop in Ethereum hashing power to about 24 MHS and increased the hashing power during Decred mining to about 450 MHS. So we made sure that the RX 480 works fine in the dual-mining mode and with a slight drop in the hashing power for Ethereum, the power of the Decred mining increases significantly.
