RedmiBook 13, 14 II and 16 official in China: prices and specifications

Redmi has kept its promises and presented the RedmiBook laptops it had anticipated in recent days: there is only one small correction to be made for a name – the RedmiBook 14s is actually called RedmiBook 14 II, while the other two are the RedmiBook 13 and the RedmiBook 16. As anticipated, all models are based on fourth generation AMD Ryzen processors: the choice is between the Ryzen 7 4700U and the Ryzen 5 4500U – octa- and hexa-core respectively with TDP of 15 W and Radeon Vega GPU integrated, respectively with 7 and 6 cores. These are chips made with a 7 nm production process and based on Zen 2 architecture. All configurations are coupled to 8 or 16 GB of RAM and 512 or 1,024 GB of SSD.

Aesthetically we are dealing with a minimal, subtle and reasonably elegant product, with a metal finish. The two side and top edges are reasonably thin, just over 3mm, and the screen-to-body ratio is around 90.6%. 16:10 displays cover 100% of the sRGB color space. On the battery side, for the moment we know that the larger model mounts a 46 Wh one, with support for fast charging of 65 W through the USB Type-C port. The charger is extremely compact – it looks like that of a common smartphone: given the small size it is likely that it is GaN technology.

The laptops will be available for purchase in China from the first day of June. From today to that date, those who place a pre-order will be entitled to a discount on the already very competitive list price. Below are the details of each configuration and model:
