RTX 3070 Imaging Promises Fewer Headaches!

Leaked photos of the Nvidia RTX 3070 indicate there will be many more GPUs at launch.

The Nvidia RTX 3070 has appeared in production images, which gives hope for an acceptable headroom without the scarcity that hit the RTX 3080 and 3090.

The images, first shared by the user on the Baidu forums, were then copied by @ Avery78 on Twitter, reflecting the Nvidia GA104-300 Ampere processors being validated for production.

The GA104-300 is speculated to be a stripped-down version of the GA104 crystal with 5888 CUDA cores, 184 tensor cores, and 46 RT cores. This is probably a sign that they are tied to an RTX 3070 graphics card which has the same specs, however, the possibility of variation of the RTX 3060 or, as we have already heard, the RTX 3060 Ti should be noted.

Tying with the RTX 3070 gives us a mid-range graphics card that doesn’t run out of stock like the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090, which sold out online in minutes. However, you should probably expect the RTX 3070 to become extremely popular and will likely sell quickly, too.

According to the source of the factory images, that is, the production line, about a thousand GPUs pass through it during the day.

Nvidia has already promised that there will be no shortage with the new graphics card. Last week, the company announced plans to postpone the RTX 3070 release by two weeks to provide the required headroom at release time.

“We know this message may disappoint users looking to get the GeForce RTX 3070 as soon as possible, but the retreat will help our global partners offer more graphics cards to gamers on release day,” the company said in a statement.

The Nvidia RTX 3070 is slated for release on October 29, a day after AMD announces its RDNA 2 GPUs.

The Twitter post posted by Avery78 also notes that Nvidia also has “tens of thousands” of GA102 GPUs, suggesting that the flagship RTX 3080 graphics will be in stock soon.
