Ryzen 7000 processors and the first AM5 motherboards would arrive in July

According to new information provided by renowned leaker Greymon55, AMD plans to release Ryzen 7000 processors and the first AM5 motherboards in August, earlier than many expected.

Initially, the leaker stated that Zen4 will not arrive in the last quarter of the year, as plans have changed. While this would normally refer to a delay, the opposite is actually the case.

Practically playing the temperature game to see if they were hot or cold, journalist Hassan Mujtaba first asked Greymon if the date was September 22, to which Greymon replied that he would arrive sooner. Then the user “Tux” asked him if they would arrive in August, to which he again replied that he would arrive sooner. In this way, these new processors and motherboards for the AM5 platform could arrive in July, or even earlier.

Regarding when they will be announced, everything indicates that this new platform will be announced at Computex. Due to its date, starting on May 24, and the large number of people that usually attend the event, this is the perfect opportunity for AMD, which has also made multiple big announcements during the event.

AM5 motherboards are almost ready

Greymon55 indicated that almost all manufacturers already have at least some models practically ready at the hardware level, and also Gigabyte’s overclocker, HiCookie, showed on his social networks that he is already working with AM5 motherboards, so everything indicates that already they are entering the stage of BIOS adjustments and final polishing of the hardware. If so, the companies will have a good margin for this stage, so we hope that its launch will not be like AM4, full of instability problems and in some cases even incompatibility with multiple memories and devices.

What do you think about this possible arrival date of the AM5 platform? Do you plan to upgrade to Ryzen 7000 when it hits the market?
