The Galaxy M series is to introduce cheaper Samsung smartphones to the market. Thus, the company wants to reach new customers and take them away from the competition.
The first device in this series will most likely be the Galaxy M2, which has just appeared in the AnTuTu benchmark. The device has the code name SM-M20SF and is equipped with a Full HD + display. Inside there is an Exynos 7885 processor with Mali G71 GPU, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory with the possibility of expansion. It works under the control of Android 8.1 Oreo.
In the benchmark, the smartphone obtained 107,452 points, which is even a good result for a cheaper design. So it seems that the M series will be better than the J which needs to be replaced. The success of the smartphone obviously depends on the price, which we should get to know soon.
