Samsung's QLED 2020s have HDMI 2.1 and 4K / 120Hz, perfect for Next-Gen

Everyone is looking for HDMI 2.1 ma they are not always found and not always reported. It therefore happens that, if you observe the specifications on the manufacturers' sites, you can find televisions in which the presence of HDMI 2.1 is not indicated, because maybe they do not have all the functions of the standard, but in reality it is still present, at least in some of its fundamental characteristics.
Samsung, for example, does not mention the presence of the new standard among the specifications, but in reality the TV 2020 range supports everything needed to play better with the Next-Gen consoles.

QLED TVs coming soon: which ones support HDMI 2.1?

Samsung Q95T is the new top of the range of the 4K models of the Korean house. It is a TV certified HDR 2000 and with a Quantum 4K image processor, equipped with the most advanced Full LED backlight available on the market. Just below is the Q90T, which differs for a slightly simpler backlight and for a lower peak brightness, certified HDR 1500, as well as for the absence of the box for external connections.
Going down the level we find the variant Q80T, also this Full Led but with fewer control zones, an interesting product because it maintains the HDR 1500 certification and the same image processor as the higher models.

On the Q70T we find instead the Dual LED backlight, able to vary the color temperature of the LEDs bringing it to warmer or colder shades based on the content, in order to improve the image quality. At the base of the range is the Q60T, the only one with a 60 Hz panel. Remember that all the models in the QLED range support HDR10 and HDR10 +. Prices for Italy are not yet official, for more information we refer you to our preview on Samsung 2020 televisions.
But now let's clarify the presence of HDMI 2.1, or at least some of the very important functions.

Samsung's entire 2020 range, even non-QLED models, support automatic Game Mode, a function of the HDMI 2.1 that is now integrated into each TV out this year.
Unlike the matter for VRR, the variable refresh rate, which will be available on both Xbox Series X and PS5. In this case the 4K models that support it are the Q95T-Q90T, the Q80T and the Q70T, same thing for supporting 4K at 120 Hz from external source. Further news will arrive in the coming weeks, but at this point it is already possible to clarify the support for the HDMI 2.1 of the new Samsung TVs, in anticipation of future purchases for the arrival of the Next-Gen.
