Test – Alphacool Eisbaer 240
| Specs | Price

Hi everyone!

Back to Alphacool today with their latest AIO water-cooling kit, the Eisbaer! Evolution of the latest Eisberg add to the kit a quick coupler allowing the addition of another waterblock and another radiator in order to cool at the same time a graphics card for example. On the program a copper radiator (more efficient than aluminum), a pump integrated into the water block with access to the tank which will allow it to be filled as needed.
The Eisbaer is available in 4 versions, 120, 240, 280 and 360 at prices ranging from 95.95 to 139.95 € it could be interesting for those who do not want to invest their time and money in an installation of a complete “custom” circuit .

As usual at Alphacool, the box is very sober, showing the name and the reference of the model as well as the logo of the brand and the compatibility with the sockets. No pompous marketing or other uselessness here, and that’s good!

In the box we come across a well-known vision of what is done for the vast majority of AIO kits on the market, namely a cardboard mold in which all the elements are positioned in individual plastic bags. Transport should therefore not be a problem.

The bundle consists of:

  • 1 x kit AIO Alphacool Eisbear
  • 1 x manual (not pictured)
  • 2 x Eiswind 12 cm 1700 RPM fans
  • 1 x AMD mounting system
  • 1 x Intel mounting system
  • 2 x Gelid XPX Xtreme thermal paste sachets
  • 1 x 2 x 4-pin adapter -> 1 x 4-pin for fans

As we can see the bundle is very complete to allow an easy installation of the Eisbear, the 2 thermal paste sachets are a little more and which will allow to reinstall the beast on another processor if necessary.
