Test – Corsair Carbide 400C White
| Specs | Price

Hi all!

Back at Corsair today with the Carbide 400C White, it has exactly the same characteristics as the 400C but adds a little cheerfulness to the thing! I have already recently had to do with his brother the 400Q (tested here) which is silent oriented, the 400C has a large window as well as more opening directly accessible on the top.
Offered at a price of around 110 € it is available at the same price as its black 400C and 400Q brothers, those who like white will therefore be delighted to learn that it will not cost more for once 😉

Technical characteristics which are almost identical to what we find on the Carbide 400Q tested previously, namely a very compact ATX case with its 42.5 cm long, 46.4 cm high and 21.5 cm wide for a weight of 8.2 kg . Be careful, however, because compactness does not necessarily rhyme with restrictions on the size of the installable components, as proof it will be possible to install a graphics card up to 37 cm in length and a cooler 17 cm in height, in other words ‘you will almost have to do it on purpose to find incompatible components 😉
However, storage suffers a little from the compact dimensions because it will only be possible to install “only” 2 peripherals in 3.5 ″ format for 3 2.5 ″ peripherals, goodbye also to 5.25 ″ slots. Even if this may not seem like much, it does not prevent the majority of users will be happy with it because there is ultimately only a very small percentage of the population that uses more than 2 3.5 ″ hard drives.
The ventilation on the other hand has not been left out by Corsair, 2 x 14 cm or 3 x 12 cm fans at the front, 1 x 12 cm at the rear and 2 x 12/14 cm above, enough to keep any market configuration cool. Originally, the brand provides us with 1 14 cm fan at the front and 1 12 cm fan at the back.
The dust filters are as usual in the part with 1 front covering the 2 fan locations, 1 below the power supply as well as one above the 2 fan locations. Corsair is also thinking of those who like to show everyone their configuration, in addition to the large window on the side a cover is present covering the power supply and hard disks in order to have the cleanest possible!
Offered at a price of around 110 € it should not disappoint compared to the 400Q which shares a large majority of the technical characteristics, let’s see what that gives!

The cardboard could not be more sober, on the front there is a drawing of the case accompanied by the logo of the brand, the model as well as a small spiel on the strong points of the Carbide 400C. At the back, an exploded view of the case as well as a listing of all the elements.

On the sides the technical characteristics are available, in order to have all the elements in hand during the purchase.

When opening the box we fall on the box in its plastic bag caught between 2 polystyrene molds to ensure the safest possible transport.

Corsair delivers with the Carbide 400C everything you need to assemble the configuration, the manual, a warranty leaflet, some plastic cable ties and of course the necessary screws. There is nothing superfluous here, but the essential is there.
