Test – Corsair Lapdog – Conseil Config
| Specs | Price

Hi all!

Back at Corsair today for the test of a product that is clearly out of the ordinary, the Lapdog! Playing on a TV from your sofa is not always easy, the keyboard and mouse on the living room table, the USB extensions to get to the PC, the back pain that can result, the Lapdog is there to solve (or at least try) all these problems. On the program, a thick foam under the tablet to take care of our little legs, a rigid mouse pad and a location for a keyboard with or without a numeric keypad. Compatibility with the mouse is total but the keyboard must be a K65 or K70 from the brand, so this will limit the choice at this level.
Offered at a recommended price of € 129.99, the bill is steep but competition for this type of niche product is almost non-existent, let’s see what happens!

The Corsair Lapdog is made of plastic and aluminum plates (on the top), the dimensions are on the other hand quite impressive with a length of 73.5 cm for 25.5 cm of width and 10 cm of thickness, it is clear that the beast is not small and takes up a certain place on the sofa (and legs!). The weight of 2.63 kg may seem quite significant but seeing the dimensions it should be distributed very well and not be annoying.
Connectivity level Corsair has planned large with a USB 3.0 HUB of 4 ports, 2 inside for the keyboard and the mouse and 2 others outside for various peripherals such as a headset and a USB key, everything not to need to get up 😉
The recommended price of 129.99 € will certainly scare many people, especially those who do not see the interest of such a product.
