It has been a while since we informed you about this motherboard, but a lower model with integrated gpu, this time it seems that the AMD 4800S which comes to be an Xbox Series X will go on sale.
This model would be an evolution to the previous model called AMD 4700S. This 4800S seems that it will need a dedicated graphic that from what it seems will be included if said motherboard is acquired.
At the moment very little is known about this board, but if we can say that the 4800S has a PCI-Express 4.0 slot to install a dedicated graphics, it would be fully compatible with AMD Radeon RX 6600 graphics, which is included with the new Desktop Kit. .
We also see that it has an M.2 slot for SSD and Wi-Fi card, which means that it could well be sold as a plate for desktop computers. Another detail that has surprised us is that it will admit AM4 heatsinks, thus facilitating the acquisition of any current model.
Based on the information we can read, the AMD 4800S Desktop Kit will be released in Q1 2022. It is being manufactured by MSI and will be bundled with the TUL (PowerColor) Radeon RX 6600 graphics card. We do not know if there are other versions planned.
